Praise be to God, Who hath created the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them through His command, “Be”, and it is. Unto God belongeth the command, in the beginning and in the end, and unto Him shall all be gathered. His is whatsoever dwelleth by night and by day; and all are His worshippers, all are unto Him devoutly obedient, all prostrate themselves before Him, all labour in His path.

Say: By God do we stand firm; and by God are we made manifest; and by God do we prevail; and by God, our Lord, the All-Merciful, are we, at all times, in security. By God do we subdue; and by God do we attain and comprehend; and by God, our Lord, the All-Merciful, are we preserved. By God are we knowing; by God are we judging; and upon God, our Lord, the All-Merciful, do we place our trust. By God do we possess whatsoever we will; and by God are we empowered for whatsoever God hath permitted us; and by Him are we invested with power over you.

Say: Verily, sovereignty at all times belongeth unto God, the One, the All-Glorious, the Supreme King. Say: Verily, the hosts, in every affair, belong unto God, the One, the Subduer of all things, the All-Bountiful. Say: Verily, the Kingdom (malakut), at all times, is God’s, the One, the All-Glorified. Say: Verily, glory (Baha) and the realm of might (jabarut) are naught but God’s, the One, the All-Manifest, the All-Powerful, the Most Exalted, the Judge. Say: Verily, all honour is God’s in the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them; He is the One, the All-Dominant, the Self-Evident Proof. Say: Verily, dominion at all times is God’s, the One, the All-Luminous. Say: His is the creation and the command; He is the One, the Originator.

Say: Whoso is able to gather together all that hath been sent down from God, it is not lawful for him to neglect a single letter thereof. This is of that whereunto men have been bidden in the Book; of it shall all be questioned.

Say: God sufficeth me, in the beginning and in the end. Verily, He hath ever been a God, one, single, peerless, self-sufficient, living, self-subsisting, standing, subduing, able, manifest, hidden, the First and the Last, the Preserver, the Helper, the Knower, the Judge, the All-Bountiful, the Perfect, the Luminous, the Radiant, the All-Compassionate, the One to be relied upon, the Most Exalted, the Most Holy, the All-Powerful, the Supreme Ruler, the Enkindled, the Watchful, the Tender, the All-Pitiful, the All-Manifest, the All-Succouring.

Unto God belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God hath ever been, of all things, all-knowing. Unto God belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them—He bestoweth as He willeth, by His command; and God hath ever been All-Bounteous, All-Knowing. Unto God belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God hath ever been mighty, all-wise. Unto God belongeth the exaltation of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God is, in very truth, the Most High, the Most Great.

Unto God belongeth the Kingdom (malakut) of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God hath ever been strong, all-mighty. Unto God belongeth the realm of might (jabarut) of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God hath ever been all-knowing, all-powerful. Unto God belongeth the light of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God is, in very truth, the Possessor of a light all-luminous. Unto God belong the signs of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God is, in very truth, the All-Sustaining, the All-Sustaining. Unto God belongeth the bounty of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them, and God is, in very truth, the Possessor tremendous bounty.
