BB00338: Ziyarat for the fourth to be martyred among the Letters of the Living

In the Name of God, the Most Unapproachable, the Most Holy!

Glorified art Thou, O Lord my God! Thou art the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Knower of the unseen and the seen. Nothing escapes Thy knowledge, whether in the heavens or on the earth or in what lieth between them, and nothing can frustrate Thee in the kingdom of creation and command or in what lieth between them. Thou hast ever been one God, single, individual, self-subsistent, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, the All-Wise, the Just, the Holy, eternal, everlasting, self-sufficient. Thou hast taken neither consort nor son, and Thou hast no partner in sovereignty nor any protector on earth save by Thy leave. All Thy creation hath ever worshipped Thee and all besides Thee bow down before Thee, yet Thou acceptest only from those who have recognized Thy truth and entered unto Thee through the gates of God from Thy presence.

For Thou hast ever been independent of all Thou hast created and exalted above all Thou dost create. Thou didst not create what is in […] before it or take comfort in what came after it, but rather didst create all things that all things might testify to Thy independence of all things and the sovereignty of Thy Lordship over all things, that all things might taste of Thy knowledge and drink of the cup of Thy creation, that all things might behold the lights of Thy countenance and witness the wonders of Thy might, that all things might reach the horizon of Thy glory and bounty.

Thou art the Being Who hath brought all things into being by Thy Will, and Thou art the Creator Who createth all things by Thy desire, and Thou art the Essence Who ordaineth all things by Thy power. Is there any heart that loveth Thee not and glorifieth Thee not? Is there any spirit that knoweth Thee not and sanctifieth Thee not? Is there any soul that boweth not before Thee and uniteth not with Thee? Is there any body that submitteth not to Thee and magnifieth Thee not? Nay, by Thy might! All glorify Thee though they know Thee not, and all follow Thy word though they witness not the manifestation of Thy Lordship. Were the veil to be lifted from the eyes of all Thy creation, then would all things prostrate themselves before Thy might and seek intercession with Thee apart from recognition of Thy Cause.

Glorified art Thou, glorified art Thou! […] the people of Thy Cause their just reward and cause those who have not […] to perish as they deserve. For Thou art the King of creation and the Sovereign of destiny. None can resist Thy command or reverse Thy decree. There is no power nor strength except through Thee. Thy mercy hath preceded Thy god-fearing servants and Thy vengeance is assured against Thy proud servants.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I have witnessed when I saw that Branch what causeth all hearts and spirits to melt and all souls and bodies to grieve. Send down upon him, O my God, from the treasuries of Thy wondrous grace that which befitteth the loftiness of Thy glory and praise. For what king, O my God, hath proudly opposed him in any matter save through the severity of Thy chastisement? Verily Thou art most severe in punishment and most terrible in retribution. Then turn unto him whom Thou didst desire to meet and appear before his sovereignty and say: May the ornament of names and the essence of similitudes and the pure expression of destiny and the camphor of fulfillment and the pristine resignation from God and all His names and similitudes, and from all who believe in Him among all His creation, be upon thee, O thou exalted Light and lofty Glory!

Great is thy affliction and exalted is thy calamity in the kingdom of earth and heaven. God shall surely take vengeance on those who have proudly opposed thee, and God shall surely reward those who have kept their covenant with thee in the Book of thy Lord, and God shall surely unite me with thee in the heights of glory and the summit of holiness from His presence. Verily He hath power over all things. The glory is in what thou hast attained and the honor in the Book of God is in what thou hast witnessed. This is what the ancients glory in in the path of God and what the latter ones boast of in the good-pleasure of God. We are all of God and unto God our Lord, the Merciful, do we return. There is no power nor strength except through God, the Protector, the Self-Subsisting.
