BB00256: Du’a’ fi avvali kulli laylin min shahri’llah

In the Name of God, the Most Inaccessible, the Most Holy [al-amna’ al-aqdas]

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the splendor of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Ba, through that which Thou art of the splendor of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the majesty of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Sin by the majesty of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the beauty of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Mim by the beauty of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the grandeur of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Alif by the grandeur of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee by the light of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Lam by the light of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the mercy of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Lam by the mercy of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the words of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Ha by the words of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the perfections of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Alif by the perfections of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the names of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Lam by the names of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the might of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Alif by the might of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the grace of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Mim by the grace of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the knowledge of “There is no God but Thee,” to send Thy blessings upon the letter Nun by the knowledge of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the power of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter ʿAyn by the power of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O God! I beseech Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God, by the utterance of “There is no God but Thee,” as there is no God but Thee, to send Thy blessings upon the letter Alif by the utterance of “There is no God but Thee…”

O Lord! I beseech Thee, by virtue of “There is no God but Thee”, to send blessings upon the letter Lam through the power of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O Lord! I beseech Thee, by the sovereignty of “There is no God but Thee”, when there is no God but Thee, to send blessings upon the letter Alif through the sovereignty of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O Lord! I beseech Thee, by the dominion of “There is no God but Thee”, when there is no God but Thee, to send blessings upon the letter Qaf through the dominion of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O Lord! I beseech Thee, by the exaltation of “There is no God but Thee”, when there is no God but Thee, to send blessings upon the letter Dal through the exaltation of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O Lord! I beseech Thee, by the signs of “There is no God but Thee”, when there is no God but Thee, to send blessings upon the letter Sin through the signs of “There is no God but Thee.” Verily, Thou art the Lord of great bounty.

O my God! Were I to attempt to mention Thee through all the letters of the Bayan, I would be powerless to do so. Therefore, O Lord, recompense each letter with the most excellent reward wherewith Thou dost recompense any letter in Thy presence, for all point to a single Point, which hath no equal, no likeness, no peer, no similitude, and no companion. For verily it is as a single Sun, and all else are but mirrors wherein is reflected the image of its revelation, each according to its capacity.

I beseech Thee by these mirrors which are present […] O my God, unto a day that hath no end, that I may remember them. Send down, O Lord, upon every embodied soul that hath believed in Thee and every being that hath prostrated before Thee that which befitteth the loftiness of Thy generosity, the sublimity of Thy grace, the elevation of Thy bounty, and the transcendence of Thy bestowals. Verily, Thou art the All-Bountiful, the All-Powerful.
