BB00497: Letter to Khal-i-Asghar I

He is the Inventor, the Mighty, the Helper

At the time of writing it is the Most Great Festival. Praise be to God as He loveth and is pleased. Repeatedly mention hath been made that indicated your presence. May God make it blessed for all the people of His love.

Today I am aware of a more exalted celebration than this, otherwise I would have mentioned it. Upon yourselves be vigilant lest ye fail to act in the Days of God while ye are certain. For after that Command no one’s deeds will avail, even should all strive their utmost. Those are the gates of the gathering opened through the grace of your Lord, the All-Merciful, if ye be of those who are certain of the signs of God. And verily all shall be brought before God, your Lord, the All-Merciful, on the Day of Distinction. And on that Day God will judge between all with truth, and they shall not speak. And verily in the year when My trustee was confounded by the command of your Lord, the All-Merciful, in its first month and after its middle, if ye be patient.

These are clear verses in the Book of God, if ye but knew. These are conclusive evidences in the Book of God for people who reflect. Hold fast to the cord of God and trust in your Lord, the All-Merciful, and turn unto Him, O ye believers! And whoso cometh unto thy Lord on the Day of Distinction, and deemeth it from the Book of God—these are they who shall prosper.

The account for year 34 has been settled clearly. Write down whatever they give in Shiraz so that it may be coordinated. Take the page within. A leader of broadcloth has written to Shiraz. When it reaches your presence they will have sent it, and after examining this same page they will have sent it to Shiraz. And be informed of the mention of service.

Glory be to God, Lord of the heavens and earth, above what they attribute, and peace be upon the Messengers, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
