In the Name of God, the Most Great, the Most Great
Glorified art Thou, O my God! I testify, and all things testify, that Thou art God, there is no God but Thee, alone, with no partner. Thine is the kingdom and the heavenly dominion, Thine the might and the divine power, Thine the strength and sovereignty, Thine the force and grandeur, Thine the dominion and the realm of man, Thine the glory and majesty, Thine the countenance and beauty, Thine the direction and perfection, Thine the likeness and similitudes, Thine the stations and reverence, Thine the greatness and independence, Thine the grandeur and exaltation, Thine the glory and invincibility, Thine the power and ascendancy, Thine the joy and gladness, Thine the sovereignty and might, and Thine is whatsoever Thou hast loved or wilt love in the kingdom of Thy Cause and creation.
Thou hast ever been one God, single, eternal, self-subsisting, living, enduring, sovereign, all-pervading, holy, everlasting, forever, inaccessible, possessing, ruling, manifest, powerful. Thou hast taken neither consort nor son, and Thou hast no partner in what Thou hast created, nor any helper in what Thou hast fashioned. Thou hast created the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them through Thy wisdom, and hast perfected the creation of all things through Thy Lordship.
Thou art the First, O my God, before all things, and there was nothing before Thee. Thou art the Last, O my God, after all things, and there shall be nothing after Thee. Thou art the Manifest, O my Beloved, above all things, and there is nothing above Thee. Thou art the Hidden, O my Desired One, beneath all things, and there is nothing beneath Thee.
Sanctified are all Thy names and exalted are all Thy examples. Thou hast ever been sanctified beyond all names and wilt ever be pure from all similitudes. How near art Thou to Thy loved ones and how gracious unto Thy beloved ones!
I beseech Thee by Thy Most Beautiful Names—O Beauty, O Most Beautiful, O All-Beautiful, O Beauteous One, O Embellisher, O Adorner, O Gracious, O Most Gracious, O Most Lovely, O Hussein, O Most Excellent, O Beneficent, O Most Beneficent, O Source of Beauty, O Twin Beauty, O He Who Acquireth Beauty, O He Who Assumeth Beauty, O He Who Shareth Beauty, O He Who Approveth Beauty—that Thou wilt send Thy blessings upon the Primal Point and then upon Him Who lived in eternity, from the beginning that hath no beginning in every Manifestation unto the end that hath no end in every concealment.
I testify, and all things testify, that the Manifestation of Thy Beauty, from the beginning when Thou didst make Thyself known to all created things, hath known Thee through Thy causing him to know Thee, and hath shown patience in Thy path upon the summits of mountains, and hath wearied himself in seeking Thy good-pleasure upon the paths of love and acceptance. Therefore, O God, inspire him with all good from Thy presence, preserve him, O God, from aught else but good through Thy power, and assist him, O God, to convey Thy Books unto Thy creation and to preserve Thy words in Thy lands, that they may glory in knowing Thee among the creatures of the first and the last, and may praise Thee in the precincts of his love in Thy most glorious Paradise among those who praise Thee, and may laugh at those whom Thou hast caused to enter the fire for lack of knowledge of Thee.
For on the Day of Resurrection Thou hast promised to make all Thy creation know the guides of Thy Cause in the paradise of Thy love, and Thou hast distinguished between the creation of all things where Thy guides shall see […] From those who believe not in the Cause and who convey what they possess to every person of authority and fame, for Thy Book is Thy proof unto Thy creation. It descendeth not upon a believer but that it causeth him to speak forth Thy praise and thanksgiving, nor upon an unbeliever but that it consumeth him with the fire of Thy justice and equity.
O God! Do Thou guide all Thy creation through Thy bounty, and deliver them all, O Lord, from the fire of being deprived of Thy knowledge, and cause them all to enter, O God, the paradise of Thy love and good-pleasure. For Thou hast ever been independent of the glorification of all created things and the sanctification of all existing things, self-sufficient above the exaltation of all beings and the elevation of all atoms. All are poor before Thy praise and glory and sanctification and glorification. And all this becometh Thee through Thy grace, wherein Thou hast accepted from those whom Thou didst create from nothing Thy unity and Thy sanctification. Otherwise, how could that which appeareth from Thy creation be worthy of Thy eternal Countenance and Thy everlasting Face? Glory be unto Thee! Glory be unto Thee! Verily Thou art the Single One, the Sanctified, the Beloved, the Eternal, the Holy, the Dreaded, Who was before all things. That which Thou willest not shall never be, and there is no power nor strength except through Thee. Verily Thou art the Most High, the Most Great.
