Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by the most inaccessible of Thy Transcendence, for all Thy Transcendence is inaccessible in Thy sight and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy Transcendence.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by the most beautiful of Thy Beauty, for all Thy Beauty is beautiful in Thy sight and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy Beauty.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by the most enduring of Thy Eternity, for all Thy Eternity is enduring in Thy sight and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy Eternity.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by the most guiding of Thy Guidance, for all Thy Guidance is guiding in Thy sight and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy Guidance.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by the most sanctified of Thy Holiness, for all Thy Holiness is holy in Thy sight and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy Holiness.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by the most extensive of Thy Mercy, for all Thy Mercy is extensive in Thy sight and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy Mercy.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Thanksgiving, the most exalted thereof, for all Thy thanksgiving is exalted in Thy presence, and is recorded in the Mother Book. O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Thanksgiving in its entirety.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by that which is most swift of all Thy forgiveness, for all Thy forgiveness is swift with Thee and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy forgiveness.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by that which is most praiseworthy of all Thy praise, for all Thy praise is exalted with Thee and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy praise.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by that which is most enduring of all Thy treasuries, for all Thy treasuries are enduring with Thee and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy treasuries.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by that which is most noble of all Thy creation, for all Thy creation is noble with Thee and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy creation.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by that which is most luminous of all Thy light, for all Thy light is luminous with Thee and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy light.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by that which is most manifest of all Thy manifestation, for all Thy manifestation is manifest with Thee and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy manifestation.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by that which is most forgiving of all Thy forgiveness, for all Thy forgiveness is forgiving with Thee and in the Mother Book. O God! I beseech Thee by all Thy forgiveness.

…I will glorify Thee above all that contingent beings have glorified by their own selves; and above all that created things have praised by their inmost reality; and above all that beings have affirmed Thy unity by their souls; and above all that names and attributes have magnified by their “I-ness”; and above all that atoms have exalted by their pristine simplicity; and above all that existences have sanctified by their camphor-sweetness; and above all that all things—whatsoever is within them and upon them—have honoured and made mighty.

Therefore do I beseech Thee, O my God, my Lord, my Beloved, my Possessor, and my Sovereign, that Thou mayest send blessings upon the Point of Divinity and the Letters of His Living, with every blessing Thou hast created or wilt create; and that Thou mayest bestow favour upon all who seek shelter beneath the shade of that Tree—befitting the sublimity of Thy exaltation and the loftiness of Thine unapproachableness. For from everlasting all atoms stand at the gate of Thy bounty, and all contingent beings prostrate themselves at the door of Thy generosity.

Sanctified is the essence of Thy being, by a camphor-sweetness, above that any of the contingent should know it; and exalted is Thy simple, uncompounded Self above that any contingent soul should comprehend it; and mighty is Thy essential soul above that any among created things should attain unto it; and sovereign is Thy immaterial dominion above that any who are in the kingdoms of earth and heaven should magnify it. Though all were to glorify Thee, and praise Thee, and proclaim Thine oneness, and magnify Thee according to the loftiness of the sovereignty of the might of Thy singleness and the unassailability of the holiness of Thy Self-Sufficiency, yet whatsoever appeareth from Thy creatures is as nothing before the majesty of the holiness of Thy unity and the gladness of the splendour of the countenance of the Sovereign of Thine essence.

Grant, then, O my God, unto me from Thy presence that which beseemeth the loftiness of Thy bounty and the sublimity of Thy favour. Verily Thou art the Protector, the Most Exalted. Nothing escapeth Thy knowledge, neither in the heavens nor on the earth nor whatsoever lieth between them; verily Thou art the All-Knowing, the Possessor of might and glory. Nor is aught beyond Thy power, neither in the realm of command nor of creation nor in whatsoever is beneath them; verily Thou art the Sovereign, the Almighty, the Possessor of sovereignty and power.

Glorified art Thou, O my Lord! Forgive me, and bestow upon me a mighty sovereignty such as Thou hast not bestowed upon any before, nor wilt ordain for any after—verily Thou art the Ever-Bestowing, the Inaccessible, the All-Powerful.
