In the Name of God, the Most Unapproachable, the Most Holy!

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy First-ness, which is exalted above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Transcendence, which is inaccessible above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Ever-Turning Grace, which is sanctified above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Steadfastness, which is supreme above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Omnipotence, which is dominant above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Life, which pervadeth all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Creative Power, which endureth above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thine Eternity, which excelleth above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Creative Force, which is manifest above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy All-Mercifulness, which is exalted above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Cultivating Power, which ruleth above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Glorified Being, which is adorned above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Witness, which is established above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thine Eternality, which is exalted above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Safeguarding Power, which shineth above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Purity, which is purifying above all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Outwardness, which is exalted beyond all things, to protect from the Tree of Negation and all that pertaineth unto it, through Thy power over whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy transcendent exaltation which is high above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy self-sufficiency which is independent of all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy singleness which standeth unique above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy self-subsistence which standeth firm above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy grandeur which shineth resplendent above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy subtlety which is exalted above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy sovereignty which is elevated above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy radiant attribute which illumineth above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy providence which transcendeth all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy guidance which is sanctified above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy divine nature which is exalted above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy ruby-like essence which shineth resplendent above all things, to restore from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth thereunto through Thy power whatsoever Thou willest. Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! Verily Thou art the Creator of negation and affirmation, the Sovereign of fire and of light, the King of extinction and of abiding. Thou hast loved to cause this to perish and that to endure; to remove this and to bring forth that; to abase this and to succour that; to humble this and to exalt that; to cast down this and to raise up that; to rend this asunder by every fire, and to bestow favour upon that through every light. How exalted, O my God, is Thy power, and how penetrating, O my Beloved, is Thy will! Thou hast ever been dominant above all contingent beings, manifest above all existences, exalted over all who are in the kingdoms of earth and heaven, inaccessible above all who dwell in the realms of names and attributes, transcendent above all created things, sovereign over those in the dominions of beginning and ending, possessed of mastery over those in the realms of origin and finality. No portion hath he whom Thou hast destroyed and forsaken, upon whom Thou hast sent down Thy vengeance, whom Thou hast seized with Thy might and Thy severity. Verily Thou art the most mighty in might and the most severe in retribution.

Nor hath there been any diminution for him whom Thou hast willed to uplift and to honour, to bestow upon and to exalt, to enrobe with glory and to invest with authority, to manifest and to endow with dominion, to grant ascendancy over whatsoever … of the rebellious. Verily Thou art the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful.

O God! Cut away whatever has sprung from the tree of fire and is attributed to it, even if it appears in temples of light, for that does not belong to it but returns to that from which it began. And […] O God, all that You have loved of the Manifestations of affirmation, and cut away from them whatever contains the poisons of fire, and purify us, for it originated from it and returns to it. Take away whatever You have witnessed of the attributes of light in the fire and join it to its tree and […] between it and its people until You cut it away from them and cause us to enter beneath the shade of the tree of affirmation, for these have no light and those have no fire.

O my God! If You witness in these any attributes of light, cut them away and join them to the tree of Your love as befits them. And if You witness in those what You have not loved for them, and it is of the fire, cut it away from them and join it to its tree, for that is not deserving after Your grace upon them and toward them in the Mother Book. Glory be to You! There is no God but You. I have loved none but You, desired none but You, intended none but You. We prostrate to none but Your face, worship none but Your Essence, trust in none but You, hope for none but Your grace, fear none but Your justice, ask from none but Your forgiveness, and rely on none but Your bountiful giving and favor.

O God! Send down at this time, at the dawn of Friday of the month which […] You have attributed to Yourself, upon […] and the people of my love, and those who follow what You have revealed in the Bayan, that which befits the loftiness of Your sanctity and the exaltation of Your elevation, for what befits Your Essence befits none other than You, and what befits others does not befit Your Essence. You are the Self-Sufficient and all else are poor before You.

O God! Send down Your mercy at this time upon all who have believed in You and Your verses, for You are the Best of those who show mercy. And bestow Your blessings, O God, upon the letters […] at all times and before all time and […] and there is no power nor strength except […] the Most High, the Most Great.
