BB00510: Answer to Mirza Sulayman

“Be as a zealous lion for God until He decrees with justice and thereafter brings about His Cause. Fear not the onslaught of the satans, for they are but uprooted shadows without proof, neither in the Book of Truth nor before creation, nor even in their own eyes. Their likeness is as the likeness of a dog: if thou attack it, it pants with its tongue out, and if thou leave it, it pants with its tongue out. Still their excessive panting with a mighty gift that thou mayest find rest from their evil. Draw not nigh unto those who have wronged lest their torment touch thee, for they have no life in them. Walk with them toward thy goal, for this is permitted to the believers in the Book of God.” [BB00072]

The best of all knowledge is the knowledge of courage in this world. When thou findest thyself like unto a mountain which neither storms can move nor thunderbolts displace, then hast thou attained the summit of the Cause and its ultimate end.

And His most exalted Word: By Him Who holdeth my soul in His hand! The attribute of jealousy in all people is as naught compared to My jealousy, and likewise in all attributes and conditions. Yet have I been patient for the good-pleasure of God, and verily what hath befallen Me of tribulation compared to thy tribulation is as a green ocean compared to a drop of water. Be thou neither frightened nor complaining, for God hath indeed revealed in the Qur’an His promise, and it was binding upon Us to help the believers. By Him Who holdeth my soul in His hand! If thou wert to witness the mystery of reality, thou wouldst be content to be cut to pieces in the path of this Cause. And verily, were all upon earth to be unjustly slain for this Cause, the blood of them all would not equal the beauty of a single verse that hath been sent down from the decree of God.
