This is what was sent down from God in My name Husayn, upon him be the glory of his Lord, to be recited at all times:

In the Name of God, the Most Unapproachable, the Most Holy

Glory be unto Thee, O my God! I and all things bear witness that Thou art God, there is no God but Thee, alone with no partner. Thine is the Kingdom and the Dominion, Thine the Might and the Power, Thine the Strength and the Divinity, Thine the Force and the Ruby, Thine the Sovereignty and the Human realm, Thine the Glory and the Majesty, Thine the Countenance and the Perfection, Thine the Face and the Beauty, Thine the Grandeur and Independence, Thine the Loftiness and the Sublimity, Thine the Power and the Deed, Thine the Mercy and the Grace, Thine the Might and the Justice, Thine the Likeness and the Examples, Thine the Stations and the Exaltation, Thine the Glory and the Invincibility, Thine the Power and the Transcendence, Thine the Joy and the Gladness, Thine the Love and the Detachment, Thine is whatsoever Thou hast loved or wilt love of what Thou hast created or wilt create.

All stand by Thy command. Thou dost ever give life and cause death, then cause death and give life. Verily Thou art the Ever-living who dieth not, the Sovereign who passeth not away, the Just who wrongeth not, the King who changeth not, the Single One from whose grasp nothing escapeth, whether in the heavens or on the earth or between them. Thou createst what Thou willest by Thy command. Verily, Thou art powerful over all things.

Sanctified are Thy names and exalted are Thy examples. Thou hast ever been One, Single, Eternal, Independent, Living, Self-Subsisting, Wise, Just, Holy, Standing, Dominant, Manifest, Everlasting, Eternal, Self-Dependent. Thou hast taken neither consort nor son, nor hath there been any partner with Thee in what Thou hast created, nor any protector in what Thou hast fashioned. Thou hast created all things by Thy power with precision, and Thou hast formed all things by Thy will with perfection. All are Thy servants and worshippers, Thy suppliants and rememberers, Thy thanksgivers.

Glorification befitteth none but Thee, for all else is Thy creation. Sanctification befitteth none but Thee, for all else are Thy servants. Praise befitteth none but Thee, for all guides are from Thee. Unity is Thine, for all beside Thee are in Thy grasp to declare Thy oneness. Magnification is Thine, for all beside Thee are as nothing before Thy greatness. Grandeur is Thine, for all beneath Thee are small before the majesty of Thy grandeur. Thine is the Most Exalted Heights above all loftiness and elevation, and Thine is the Most Glorious Ascendancy above all ascendancy and radiance.

Let all in the kingdom of Thy command and creation glorify Thee, and let all in the kingdom of Thy earth and heaven sanctify Thee. Thou hast ever been dominant over all contingent beings, manifest over all existing things, transcendent above all created things, elevated above all who are in the kingdoms of earth and heaven, inaccessible above all atoms, sovereign above all who are in the kingdoms of the beginning and the end, powerful over all who are in the kingdoms of symbols and guidance, ruling over all who are in the kingdoms of the single one and the signs, and supreme over all that Thou hast brought into being and created among all created things, for by these eight names—the Dominant, the Manifest, the Transcendent, the Elevated, the Inaccessible, the Powerful, the Sovereign, and the Supreme—Thou hast revealed the letters of affirmation, seven by seven and one when emphasized.

Glory be unto Thee! There is no God but Thee. All who are in the kingdom of Thy command and creation bow down before Thee, and all who are in the kingdom of Thy earth and heaven worship Thee, for Thou hast revealed Thyself unto them. Thou didst make Thyself known on the Day of Resurrection, whereupon those who recognized among Thy creation attained recognition, and thereby entered Thy paradise, whether they possessed all things or possessed nothing; and those who were veiled among Thy creation remained veiled and entered Thy fire, whether they possessed anything or possessed nothing. Behold, this is Thy path from time immemorial and forevermore; never hast Thou decreed aught concerning Thy creatures save in accordance therewith.

For whoso turneth unto Thee—even wert Thou to invest him with dominion over all that is on the earth—Thou wouldst assuredly ordain for him guidance and faith; and if not, then nothing of it shall be his. Likewise, whosoever is veiled from Thee, Thou hast judged him to be without truth and faith, whether Thou hast granted him all things or nothing thereof. Wherefore, O my God, cause all Thy creation to detach themselves from the forms of limitations, that they may see no glory save in knowing Thee and winning Thy good-pleasure, and no abasement save in being veiled from Thee and deprived of Thy good-pleasure.

And I bear witness before Thee concerning two of Thy creatures, that they have shown patience for Thy sake, served Thy Cause, and endured from Thy creation whatsoever they have endured. They deserve no more than what they have earned of Thy grace—to be known and appreciated. One of them hast Thou raised unto Thyself, for from Thee did he come and unto Thee did he return. The other Thou hast preserved and sustained with Thy remembrance, and upon him hast Thou sent down Thy words. Nurture him, O my God, with the fruits of Thy good-pleasure until the Day of Resurrection, and purify his heart with that which will bring solace to his eyes from Thy presence. Unite for him, O my God, such worldly means as none of the dwellers in the kingdom of Thy knowledge or the servants in the dominion of Thy Being have regarded. But since Thou hast ordained for Thy creation in this world various means to which each soul clings, bestow upon him, O my God, that which will gladden his eyes and satisfy his soul. Verily, Thou art powerful over all things.
