BB00567: Letter to Mirza Asadu’llah Dayyan
In the Name of God, the Lord of the two religions! In the Name of God, the Lord of all religions!
I have beheld the Tablets of Eternity, adorned as they are with the splendors of the revelation of God, the Mighty, the Glorious. Praise be unto God, as beseemeth Him and as He deserveth, inasmuch as thou hast ascended, in thy recognition of thy Lord, unto a horizon which none other can comprehend. We have answered that which thou didst mention in thy adorned Tablets, and We have made thee a king that thou mayest recount that which the eternal mirrors relate concerning Him Who is their Revealer, and that thou mayest be vigilant lest there cross thy mind that which would extinguish the fire of His heart, and that thou mayest be unto Him and unto that which He desireth to convey regarding the remembrance of God a beauteous protector. Guard thou it and thyself, that neither His knowledge nor thine own be encompassed by loss, and make ye mention of God’s guides with beauteous remembrance. We have ordained for thee in the Book that which shall cause thee to be enlightened by the Book until a time appointed.
O creation of God! Read ye all, then believe and be assured.
