He is God, the Sovereign Lord, the All-Glorious.
Say: Praise be to God Who graciously enableth whomsoever He willeth to adore Him. Verily no God is there but Him. His are the most excellent titles; it is He Who causeth His Word to be fulfilled as He pleaseth and it is He Who leadeth those who have received illumination and seek the way of righteousness.
Fear thou God, thy Lord, and make mention of His Name in the daytime and at eventide. Follow not the promptings of the faithless, lest thou be reckoned among the exponents of idle fancies. Faithfully obey the Primal Point Who is the Lord Himself, and be of the righteous. Let nothing cause thee to be sore shaken, neither let the things which have been destined to take place in this Cause disturb thee. Strive earnestly for the sake of God and walk in the path of righteousness. Shouldst thou encounter the unbelievers, place thy whole trust in God, thy Lord, saying, Sufficient is God unto me in the kingdoms of both this world and the next.
The Day is approaching when God shall bring the faithful together. In truth no God is there other than Him.
May the peace of God be with those who have been guided aright through the power of divine guidance.
Make thou mention of him whose name hath been revealed under the name of Husayn, who journeyed for the sake of God many times, and was of the people of piety, and magnified God in His presence. Thou art the All-Near—nothing can come between me and Thee; and Thou art the God—nothing in Thy might can render Thee powerless. Glorified be Thou! Sanctified is Thy Essence above the ascent of the loftiest bird of hearts and imaginings; and exalted is Thine “I-ness” above the rising of the highest pinnacles of the essences of those endued with understanding. From everlasting Thou hast been, through Thyself, known unto Thyself—there was none beside Thee; and Thou wilt ever remain as Thou hast been in the day of pre-eternity, without the existence of any one other than Thee.
Glorified be Thou! Thou art the Beloved Who hast caused me to know Thee; and Thou art the Known One Who hast honored me with Thy love. Thou art the Ancient One Who can never be described by glory and majesty; Thou art the Great One Who can never be comprehended by grandeur and beauty. For the attributes of glory and majesty, and the conditions of power and beauty, are but the signs of Thy Will and the effulgences of Thy might; and by the very testimony of their existence they proclaim the barring of the way, and by the evidence of their own selves they announce the denial of the path…
