BB00447: Kitab al-Vahid 01 (Letter to the first Temple)

In the name of God, the Mighty, the Best Beloved

Glorified be He Who possesseth dominion over the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is between them. Say: All shall return unto Him. He is the One Who guideth whom He willeth through His command. Say: All are supplicants of His bounty. Say: He is the Subduer over all things, and He is the Mighty, the Powerful, the Best Beloved.

This is indeed a Book from the Primal Point [al-tha’] unto the first to believe. Bear thou witness that verily He is the Sovereign, the Powerful. He is the One Who giveth life and causeth death, and all shall return unto Him. There is no God but Him. Say: All bow down before Him.

Verily God, thy Lord, recompenseth all through His command, more swiftly than saying “Be” and it is. God hath indeed testified in the Book, and His angels, and His Messengers, and those endued with knowledge before Him, that thou hast believed in God and His signs, and all are guided by thy guidance.

This is all bounty unto thee, from before and after, from God, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. When thou didst believe in God before creation, God made thee in every Dispensation a Command from His presence. There is no God but He, the Protector, the All-Holy.

The Command of God, thy Lord, shall reach all things as a bounty from His presence. There is no God but He, the Munificent, the Compelling. Say: All command returneth unto Me in the Book of God, and verily I am the first to believe in God and His signs, and verily I am the Manifest, the All-Manifesting.

Verily, unto Me belong all goodly names from God, the Mighty, the Powerful. And verily I was in the First Wondrous Day and shall be in the Last Wondrous Day, as a Command from God and a bounty from His presence. There is no God but He; all here bow down before Him.

Verily, when God made Me the Manifestation of His Cause, from before and hereafter, I shall thank Him and praise Him. There is no God but He, the All-Praised, the All-Thankful, the Eternal. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and verily we are all guided by Him. And His guidance returneth unto Me in the Book. O people of the Bayan! All things are guided through God’s guidance before My presence.
