In the Name of God, the Most Unapproachable, the Most Holy

O God, my Lord! Send Thy blessings upon the Tree of Thy Oneness, and cause to descend upon it, O my Lord, that which befitteth the loftiness of Thy bounty and the sovereignty of Thy mighty Self-Subsistence.

Do Thou, O my Lord, exalt me and it, and grant victory unto me and it, and inspire me and it, and clothe me and it with majesty, and adorn me and it with beauty, and magnify me and it, and illumine me and it, and have mercy upon me and it, and glorify me and it, and teach me and it, and enrich me and it, and content me and it, and preserve me and it, and manifest me and it, and grant dominion unto me and it, and answer me and it, by virtue of Thy most excellent Names and Thy most exalted Attributes, and through that which beseemeth the sublimity of Thy holy majesty in the most exalted heights and in the most lowly depths.

For Thou hast ever been, and wilt ever be, nigh in Thy nearness and transcendent in Thy loftiness. No thing can praise Thee as befitteth the reality of Thy Being, nor can any thing extol Thee as beseemeth the truth of Thy Self, nor can any thing unify Thee as befitteth the reality of Thy Nature, nor can any thing magnify Thee as beseemeth the truth of Thy Identity, nor can any thing glorify Thee as befitteth the sovereignty of Thy Lordship. Thou hast ever been independent of all else besides Thee and self-sufficient above all else except Thee. All worship Thee according to their capacity, and all prostrate themselves before Thee according to the limit of their power.

Send down then, O God, all Thy majesty and Thy beauty, Thy perfection and Thy greatness, Thy light and Thy mercy, Thy words and Thy names, Thy might and Thy will, Thy knowledge and Thy power, Thy speech and Thy dominion, Thy sovereignty and Thy bounty and Thy signs, and whatsoever Thy knowledge encompasseth of every good, upon the Reality of the Seven Letters, then upon the Letters of the Living, and upon all who seek shelter beneath the shade of that Treea€“until the Day when they shall discover it renewed through the effulgence of Thy light; and do Thou exalt it through the appearance of Thy wondrous novelty.

Send, then, Thy blessings, O God, upon the hearts of those who have ascended unto Thee, and upon their spirits, their souls, and their bodies, with all Thy bounty and Thy mercy, and all Thy grace and Thy munificence; for verily Thou art the King, the All-Bountiful, the Most Exalted, the Inaccessible. There is no power nor strength save in God, the Exalted, the Most Great.
