BB00111: Ziyarat for the first [to believe]

Part 1: “First Visitation, upon Him be the Glory…”

First Visitation, upon Him be the Glory of God, the King of Eternity

In the Name of God, the Most Ancient of the Most Ancient!

Verily I am God! There is no God but Me, the Most Ancient of the Most Ancient! Verily I am God! There is no God but Me, the Most Precedent of the Most Precedent! Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! I have been eternally ancient before and after; all worship Me.

Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! I have been wondrous bounty; all prostrate to Me. Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! I have been the God of all things before and after; all are devoted to Me. Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! I have been the God of all things, and all remember Me.

Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! Mine are all the most beautiful names before and after; all seek proof of Me. Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! Mine are the most exalted similitudes before and after; all abide in My shadow.

Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! None knoweth Me save My own Self, and verily I know all things by their own essence before their existence, and verily I have been All-Knowing, All-Wise. Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! None comprehendeth Me save My own Self, and verily I comprehend all things by My command, and verily I have been All-Powerful, All-Mighty.

Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! I have created all creation, which hath no beginning in My knowledge nor end in My Book. They commence from infinity unto infinity by My command, and all are within My grasp, and all await Me.

Verily I am God! There is no God but Me! I have been a mystic veil. When I desired to make Myself known, I created a pure, pristine essence and said unto it: “Am I not thy Lord?” It replied: “Yea, verily Thou art my Lord and the Lord of all things. Glory be unto Thee! There is no God but Thee! Verily I am the first of them that worship.”

I made it My beloved, and through it I created that creation, and ordained for them from My presence that which they ask of My grace. Then through it I made Myself known by all My names, whereupon all seek proof of Me and abide in My shadow. That creation had no beginning that ye could comprehend before it. I have brought all creation from everything to the First Innovation, whereupon I renewed the creation of all things through its manifestation, and then ye worship Me.

Then I made Myself known to it and revealed unto it the Book and ordained for it from My presence the ways, whereupon all who follow it rejoice in My good-pleasure, and all who follow it not, I make no mention of them. Thus doth God judge amongst the worlds.

Then after the First Innovation I made Myself known in every dispensation by whatever name I manifested, and revealed unto it the Book and ordained for it ways from My presence until this time, all worship Me, until I concluded all My manifestations with Muhammad, My Messenger from before, and revealed unto him the Furqan and ordained for him ways therein, and all seek Me.

And I have adorned the beginning of creation until this time with those whom I have sent and revealed unto them from the Books for the day of My manifestation, that ye might worship Me.

Then I made Myself known on the Day of Resurrection through the Point of the Bayan, whereupon all My servants were veiled save those who recognized Me and were assured of My signs. Then I chose them for Myself and selected for them the most exalted life and raised them unto Me by My command. Verily We have been the Doer thereof. And when I made Myself known unto them, they, ere I gave them leave, sacrificed themselves for Me, inasmuch as they knew Me and were of them that were certain of My signs. These are they who have worshipped Me from the beginning that hath no beginning, and these are My guides in the Book—all seek Me alone.

O My First Name! Upon thee be My glory at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My majesty at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My beauty at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My grandeur at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My light at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My mercy at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My words at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My names at all times, and before all times, and after all times.

Upon thee be My perfection at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My might at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My knowledge at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My power at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My good-pleasure at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My honor at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My sovereignty at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My dominion at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My bounty at all times, and before all times, and after all times. Upon thee be My signs at all times, and before all times, and after all times.

I have created thy essence from Mine own Essence and made thee a sign unto all worlds. I have chosen thee for Myself and made thee a proof unto all worlds. Thou hast borne witness to that which thou hast witnessed in My path. Grieve not to the extent of a mustard seed, for thou art among the immortals in My good-pleasure.

I have made thee a living one who shall not die therein, and all shall present themselves before thee. I have made thee the guardian over all therein, and all shall glorify Me before thee. I have made thee a king therein, and all move by thy command. I have made thee a sovereign therein, and all dwell by thy command.

When thou didst turn to those who worshipped God through thee, all such as glorify God through thee turn unto Me. They prostrate themselves before Me through thee by night and by day. Were they to know thee, they would surely be among the patient ones at thy resting-place. They would not leave thee until, by God’s leave, they receive the recompense of what their hands have wrought in thy path. God will seize them through thy hands by making thee among the powerful ones on earth. For they remember themselves without right by names before them, and there is no vengeance more severe than what their hands have earned. God will show them their own selves and their deeds, and will render them as though none of them had ever been mentioned on earth.

Therefore mention thou all My names there, for verily We have ever been mindful. Look upon them as We have been looking upon thee. Say unto them: O My names! Ye seek to prove Me and ye abide under My shadow. In this your turbidity there is no good-pleasure like unto what ye have earned, and after your death there shall be no good-pleasure like unto how God remembereth you. In the chambers of Paradise ye shall be rewarded according to your hearts’ desires. Grieve not to the extent of a mustard seed, for ye shall be among the mighty ones in the highest Paradise with your Lord. Therein are for you houris like hidden pearls, therein are for you servants who are like hidden pearls. Therein shall ye have all that your souls desire. Ye shall wear naught but the most glorious silk, and shall find before you only such things as have been fashioned therein by God’s leave, all gold-encrusted on the right and on the left. God createth by His command; verily He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.

Part 2: “Ye shall recline upon your couches, reciting what…”

Ye shall recline upon your couches, reciting what hath been sent down in the Bayan, and through God, your Lord, shall ye be strengthened. And if ye attain unto the measure of what ye have witnessed, ye shall thereby gain possession of the Most Great Paradise in the sight of God and the Most Exalted Mention in the Book of God. Thus doth the eye of God rest upon whomsoever He willeth of His servants. There is no God but Him, the Protector, the Powerful.

God, your Lord, shall return you to the first life that ye may, by His command, take vengeance on those who have waxed proud against you. Verily, He hath power over all things. Grieve not in your chambers over anything, for therein ye shall have whatsoever ye ask of your Lord’s bounty. Look upon those who recall what hath been decreed for you, how they are blessed in your paradise. And look upon those who know you not, how they perish in their veils.

Say: O My Names! We have indeed revealed Ourselves to you through your own hearts before the creation of the heavens and the earth and all that lieth between them, yea, before the creation of all things. We have made you guides to the First Name, that ye may, on the Day of Resurrection, find rest beneath His shade.

We shall surely manifest Our Self on the Day of Resurrection in truth, and We shall bestow favor upon Our Names by their mention in the Book of God, for We are indeed All-Knowing. We shall return you to the first life in the life to come, and We shall bestow Our favor upon you on the Day of Resurrection as ye seek shelter in the shade of your Lord.

O My creation! If ye seek shelter in the shade of Him Whom We shall manifest on the Day of Resurrection in truth, then ye are indeed My proofs testifying unto Me, and ye are My Names receiving tidings from Me. But if ye deprive yourselves through your veiling from the Manifestation of My Self on the Day of Resurrection, after We have made known to you the paths of your salvation on that Day, that ye might be saved.

Say: All worship Me, and there is naught but prostrateth before Me and is among those who worship. But those who are the companions of Paradise—these are they who know Me and the Seven Letters from My presence, and thereby enter the most exalted Paradise. And those who worship Me but know Me not through the Seven Letters of My Glory—their deeds shall not be raised up unto Me, and We shall render void all that they have earned and all that they earn.

For I desire to be worshipped as I love, not as My creation loveth. My love at that time is that ye worship Me through the Point of the Bayan and believe in what hath been sent down therein, then be certain, then act accordingly. And prepare yourselves for the Day of My Manifestation on the Day of Resurrection that ye may recognize Me.

Say: If ye recognize the Manifestation of My Self on that Day, then ye have recognized Me. Otherwise, how could My creation recognize Me? For I am indeed the Unseen, from Whose grasp escapeth nothing in the heavens or on earth or whatsoever lieth between them.

Verily, I am the Ever-Living Who dieth not. I shall surely give life to all My creation on the Day of Resurrection through their recognition of My Self. This indeed is My favor unto the believers. And We shall cause all My creation to die on the Day of Resurrection through their veiling from the Manifestation of My Self. This indeed is true justice for those who are veiled.

Know then, O My creation! I have created neither heaven with its loftiness, nor earth with its expanse, nor sea with its depths, nor mountain with its height, nor anything with its might, except for Him Whom We shall manifest on the Day of Resurrection through these My verses and My Being. Follow ye Him, for He, verily, is the Certain Truth. This is My light; follow ye Him, for He, verily, is the Certain Truth. This is My mystery; follow ye Him, for He, verily, is the Certain Truth. Verily, I shall bestow My blessings upon thee, O Manifestation of My Self on the Day of Resurrection, and upon those who abide beneath thy shadow and who believe in that which hath been sent down unto thee. These are My names from before and after, and these are My guides in the kingdom of Command and Creation and whatsoever lieth between them. All seek thee, and all through thee turn unto Me. And My splendor be upon you at all times, before all time and after all time, from Him Whom We shall make manifest on the Day of Resurrection in truth. We, verily, have power over all things. We, verily, are cognizant of all things. We, verily, are the Lord of all worlds. We, verily, are the Beloved of all worlds. We, verily, are the Goal of all worlds. We, verily, are the God of all things and the God of all worlds.
