I have taken refuge in Him Who possesses sovereignty over all realms, material and divine, and have held fast to Him Who wields might and supreme power, and have placed my trust in the Ever-Living One Who neither slumbers nor dies. I have entered into God’s protection and God’s sanctuary from the evil of all afflictions, by virtue of Kaf-Ha-Ya-Ayn-Sad and by virtue of Ha-Mim-Ayn-Sin-Qaf. God will suffice you, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. I seek refuge in God, the True One, from the evil of every night-visitant.
