BB00582: Letter to Hajj Sulayman Khan (from Medina)

In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

This is a Book which hath been inscribed by the hand of this Remembrance upon one wise, and verily it is upon a straight path. And thy Lord knoweth the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and there is nothing but We have detailed it in this Book, a preserved tablet. And thou didst not will except what God willed, and God hath detailed His wisdom, but the people know not. And if thy Lord had willed, He would have decreed what thou didst ask in thy secret heart, but God hath made burdensome things hateful unto thee. Verily, there is no God but Him, the All-Wise, the All-Knowing.

This is of the tidings of the Tablet sent down unto thee that thou mayest remember God with abundant remembrance, that thou mayest be upon the path of thy Lord with clear certitude. And exalted be God, thy Lord, far above what the wrongdoers say with great exaltation.
