In the Name of the Most High, the Most Great

Blessed is He Who bestoweth His grace upon whomsoever He willeth through His Command. Say: In this let the believers rejoice. We have indeed read the books which thou didst reveal aforetime, and We are witness unto all things. Say unto him who hath illumined his book with liquid gold: Give thanks unto God for having acquainted thee with His wisdom, for this is verily a supreme triumph. And verily on this Friday, the remembrance of thy Lord’s name bestoweth blessings upon those who follow Me. Say: Give thanks unto God, O people, for having guided you through His grace, then be ye patient.

Make mention in the Book of Isma’il, that thou shouldst carry some copies and deliver them unto God’s faithful servants. Say: The deeds of those who have fabricated lies against the remembrance of thy Lord’s name in their book before witnesses from among the people are rendered vain, for they were an ignorant folk.

Make mention of Ibrahim and then of him who was sent down with the truth, and then of those who love that We make mention of them in the Book, for God shall fully render unto the patient their rewards without diminishment.

We have indeed answered in books which were revealed unto Us Ja’far and then Muhammad—send forth, send forth with Isma’il unto them both, and write unto those who follow Me that they should remain patient in that land and ask of God from His grace, and say: All praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds.
