BB00222: Letter to Mulla Sadiq Muqaddas Khurasani
Alif Lam Mim. This is the remembrance of God’s remembrance to the Yellow Leaf on the right side of the Mount. There is no God but Him. Say: Let me go forth! We have indeed sent down to thee aforetime a Book wherein are clear verses from Our presence for a people who hear. We have heard today that after thy sojourn in that land thou hast followed the desires of those who know not the decree of the Remnant of God from His wise servant. And thou hast not openly proclaimed God’s decree out of fear of what people would say concerning God’s verses. Read Our verses every day among the people without the slightest fear, for God’s Cause is truth, regardless of what people may say. We have prescribed for the believers to make mention of God’s remembrance in the call to prayer according to what We have revealed in the Book of Kings. Proclaim God’s decree openly that ye may prosper.
O man! Pray in the mosque wherein the verses were revealed from thy Lord, and study Our verses therein with justice that thou mayest be among the successful ones. It is the first house wherein the Book was revealed, and therein did the men of the Holy Land believe, and these were indeed the foremost. It is truly a mosque that was founded upon thy Lord’s decree with justice, and was formerly a Jewish house, and now the Holy Land is inscribed in God’s Book.
We have indeed sent down a Book to the land of Kirman. Send it at the time of its revelation, and what thou hast written of Our wondrous verses, that thou mayest be among the witnesses inscribed. Convey this decree from Us, for it is a just decree from Us, a manifest Leader. We have ordained for two individuals from among the learned of that land to go forth by the decree of the Remnant of God to that island, that We may command God’s decree upon them, and that they may be among the helpers inscribed in God’s Book. Say to the elder of them: Go forth at God’s command that ye may be among the successful ones inscribed.
The first to leave his home as an emigrant shall enter Paradise before others on the Day of Resurrection. Read this Book every day from the pulpit in eloquent and sorrowful Qur’anic tongue. Write to Our followers that they should leave their dwellings for God’s covenant on the path of God, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy. Send daily the affairs of the land’s decrees that We may judge among them with justice, for God thy Lord is indeed All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
Today the decree of the learned is like that of all people—there is no changing God’s decree and all are brought before Us. Say: Erase all books and teach among the people with Our verses, and write what is revealed from My hand in golden ink that ye may be among the God-fearing inscribed. Say to the learned: Fear God and turn not away from Our Cause, for the decree hath been revealed concerning those who turn away just as it was revealed concerning Abu Lahab and his wife. People will read your decrees thereafter while ye perceive not. Say: Praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds.
